Introduction
This page explains what happens to information connected with you while you use the Clover Folk Traditions mobile application (the "Service"). It covers what we may receive, why we need it, and the steps we take to keep it protected. By opening and continuing to use the Service, you accept the practices set out below.
Information Collection and Use
Running the Service smoothly sometimes requires a small amount of information about you or your device. On occasion we may request an identifier such as an email address, or basic details describing the hardware and software you rely on. Anything you provide stays with us and is applied only for the reasons described in this Policy.
A limited set of technical records may also be produced automatically as you interact with the app, including but not limited to:
- the model of your device and the version of its operating system;
- the IP address assigned to your connection;
- diagnostic records, in-app activity, and reports generated when something goes wrong.
Small data files similar to cookies may be used so the Service can remember preferences and so we can measure how features perform. Your device settings let you switch such files off, though a few parts of the app may behave less reliably once they are disabled.
Use of Data
Whatever we receive is put to work for a narrow list of goals:
- keeping the Service running, maintained, and steadily improving;
- letting you know about updates, changes, or new versions;
- making interactive parts of the app available to you;
- answering questions and helping when you run into difficulty;
- reviewing how the app is used so future releases serve people better;
- spotting, preventing, and repairing technical faults or suspicious behavior.
Third-Party Access
A portion of the information described above may pass to carefully selected outside companies that carry out work on our behalf — for instance, analytics processing or help-desk operations. These partners may not repurpose your information for anything of their own; they are contractually required to follow the same standards this Policy sets. Figures that have been combined and stripped of anything identifying may additionally be shared for statistical summaries or research.
Disclosure of Data
There are limited situations in which the law, or a genuine need, could oblige us to hand information over. We may do so when it is reasonably necessary to:
- satisfy a legal obligation or answer a lawful request from public authorities;
- defend our property, rights, or agreements;
- keep users of the Service, or the wider public, out of harm's way;
- stop fraud or address a serious operational issue.
Data Retention
Records tied to your account remain with us while you continue using the Service and for a reasonable window afterwards. If at any point you would like personal information erased, write to us and we will act on the request without unnecessary delay.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not designed for anyone under 13 years old — or under 16 where local rules set a higher threshold — and we never knowingly accept personal details from that age group. If you have reason to think a minor has passed information to us, please tell us right away so we can remove it.
Security
Protecting what you entrust to us matters. A blend of physical safeguards, technical controls, and internal procedures is in place to reduce the risk of loss or misuse. Even so, no method of sending or storing digital information is completely immune to compromise, and we cannot promise absolute protection.
International Transfers
The servers that process your information may sit in a country other than the one you live in. Continuing to use the Service means you agree to such cross-border handling, on the understanding that suitable safeguards accompany every transfer.
Links to Other Sites
From time to time the Service may point you toward pages run by independent parties. Those destinations follow their own privacy rules, which we neither control nor answer for, so we encourage you to read them before sharing anything.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may refresh this Policy occasionally. Whenever that happens, the updated text will appear here and the "Effective date" above will change accordingly. Staying with the Service after a revision counts as acceptance of the newer version.
